Tour guides in virtual worlds

1 12 2006

I just read about Synthtravels on the YALSA blog. Oh my gosh, how cool is this?! If you ever wanted to learn about an online virtual world like Second Life, World of Warcraft, Runescape, or any of the other virtual places inhabited by your teens, this is the place to go! From their website:

Synthravels is a tour operator that offers various types of guided tours in the most famous virtual worlds, with the warrantee of the experience of the best guides around. You will only have to register and to choose your destination, with the day and the hour you prefer (possibly give us one or two alternatives). Then, after a few days, you will receive a mail offering you the tour in the chosen virtual world.

You just need to have the program of the virtual world installed in your pc, and to have your avatar ready. Then, at the selected day and time, when you log in, you will find an expert guide ready to take you in the most astonishing places of that world.”

Wow – a virtual tour guide to show you around! It’s all free, and there’s a list of all the worlds they cover at http://www.synthravels.com/help/?lang=en. I’m signing up, how about you?
