Seeking Library Leaders
21 11 2006Calling all potential leaders from all types of Massachusetts libraries!
The second Library Leadership Massachusetts Institute will be held July 15-18, 2007 at the College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, MA. Join fifty colleagues for three and a half days of collaborative training in leadership and mentoring.
Prospective candidates are practitioners of library science or library advocates with fewer than ten years in their roles. They demonstrate leadership potential, and may or may not hold a Masters of Library Science (MLS) or degree of School Library Media certification (SLMC).
Applications, Letters of Support, and Institutional Agreements are due Friday, December 8, 2006. This is a competitive application process. Space is limited.
The cost to attend is $100. Encourage your staffs and colleagues to apply.
